This book is a timeline of Dhulekar's "weird relationship with Hinduism/God from the ages of 5 to 18," as the precursor to the book puts it. In 24 beautifully illustrated pages, Dhulekar manages to simply and compassionately explore a shifting relationship to faith in diaspora, as she struggles with both her personal beliefs and with the realities of daily life as a young brown girl in America.
